—To sell the old broom shop at the Iowa College for the Blind. Bids will be received up to March 10. College reserves the right to reject any or all bids. DEATH OF MISS CARLSON.

Mrs. J. S. Pyne received word of the death of Miss Anna Carlson, who some years ago was at the College for the Blind, at her home in Stratford, Iowa, May 27. She was in good health a week ago and with her sister, Emma, had planned to be here for the Commencement at the College.
